No lights come on when the board is plugged in | This is the first time I've plugged my board in | A computer USB port or old mobile charger can be used to power the board. If you don't see any lights come on then try another port in your computer, or try another charger and/or wall socket. Plug another device into your charger to see if that receives power. |
The board was working previously | Check that your USB port or charger are still proving power by plugging in another device.
It's late at night | Late at night there may be no trains running, when this happens you will see no lights on the board.
I can't connect to the traintrackr WiFi network | I can't see it in my list of WiFi networks | Make sure the board is powered and you have pressed the 'flash' button. All the lights on the board should turn on to let you know you are in WiFi setup mode. |
I've pressed the flash button but no lights come on | The board may not have power, check that your USB port or charger are still proving power by plugging in another device.
I've pressed the flash button and all the lights on the board are on but I still can't see the Wifi network | Sometimes it takes a while for the list of networks to refresh, try waiting a minute and looking again
I can see the network but can't connect to it | This can happen if you have powered the board but haven't pressed the flash button
I'm being warned there is no internet connection on the traintrackr Wifi network | This is normal, you can click 'ignore' to this message and proceed with the setup process |
Each generation of our products has it's own set of LED codes, to determine which generation of product you have, check how many status LEDs your board has.
